Many of our ancestors, grand parents, and forefathers turned back to nature during the "hard times of the Great Depression". They grew their own livestock with chickens for eggs and meat. ROAR CAMP on Cherokee Lake stands for "Rock of Ages Retreats & Camp in Bean Station, TENN. We are a 3 acre, lakefront, family-friendly, camp that offers (4) fully-furnished, Fishing Cabin units. These cabins are built in pairs with cabins #1 or #2 priced at $30 per day on the weekend plan, or $50 one day only, while the weekly rate is $198 including sales tax. If taken together, depending on the discount being offered, they can be rented as a pair of 2 for the price of 1 1/2, or $297. The other cabins #3 or #4 are priced at $50 per day on the weekend plan, or $75 one day only, while the weekly rate is $330 including taxes. If taken together, they can be rented as a pair of 2 for price of 1 1/2, or $495. Other group discounts are available for the rental of all 4 cabins on the weekly plan. Cabin #4 (shown @ top) provides a 250 sf cabin that sleeps 4 people. All bedding & linens are provided. Has a small Kitchenette area with a 4 burner stove & oven, microwave, and dorm-size
refrigerator. Has laminate flooring good for pets. Has Cherrywood bedroom suite/former water bed. Has futon couch/bed with 2 cushions.
Has outside 3 seater Artesian Spa Tub and rest room area. Can use Community Showers at Lodge or the inside showers of Cabin #3, if taken as a discounted pair. Has handy concrete pathway to nearby lake banks and floating dock which has a metal table and 3 chairs, along with a rentable Paddle Boat. Free VHS & DVD movies.
CABIN (#3)(built 1975)($50/day)
Cabin #3 (shown @ MIDDLE)provides over 300 sf of living space with a full kitchen and large refrigerator. Sleeps 4 people in twin bed and a couch futon. All bedding & linens provided.
Has inside Rest Room with shower/bath and
toilet and can be shared with cabin #4 when rented as a pair, on the 2 for 1 1/2 plan. Has
same access to lake and floating dock, as #4.
All cabins guests have access to onsite Free Boat Launch Ramp. Ramp also doubles as a Water Slide rented by the hour or the day.
CABINS (#1 & #2)(built 2003)($30/day)
Cabins #1 and #2 (shown in BOTTOM view) provide
250 sf of living space and sleeps 4 people/cab.
All bedding & linens provided. Has very small Kitchenette area with microwave, forman grills,
coffee pot, hot plate, and dorm-size frig. Has
vinyl flooring that is good for pets. Has futon couch and futon bunkbed. Has outside Rest Room on Sundeck and shares Community Showers at checkin Lodge. Has same access to Floating Fishing Dock, as all cabins and is the nearest to Free Boat Launch Ramp/Water Slide. Has a shared Gazebo with city water.
Has nice shaded parking area. Free VHS & DVD
movies provided. Has BBQ grills on sundecks.
